If you are in the area and want something a little more high end you can always take a quick ride over to Sky Bar at Silom Rd for a nightcap.  Take a taxi over there for convenience, just make sure it’s a metered taxi.  Located at the State Tower on the 64^th floor, Sky Bar is the world’s highest open-air bar and it’s sure to keep you smiling with a beautiful view of Bangkok’s night skyline.

Also on Sukhumvit Soi 4 near the best Sukhumvit Soi 4 hotel in Bangkok is Hillary 4.  This place has live music and food.  They have great draft beer special running all day and night.   If you want to go a little further down Sukhumvit Soi 4 you can check out Chequers and play some pool.  This pub is a little more quiet than Hillary’s and the beer is cold.  The food is pub-grub and better than average.
